Prep Work Week 3

  • Practice the relaxation exercise, as shown in class, everyday for 15 minutes (or longer if your prefer)
  • After each relaxation exercise, complete The Relaxation Journal
  • Take a picture of all SEVEN relaxation journals and add into the week 3 folder inside your personal Google Drive folder, which has been emailed.
  • Complete CLASS 4 of the success sheet before your next class after reflecting on class 3
  • As you are out and about during your week, take notice of when you see children immersed in their imagination, or observe family members if you have small children in them
  • In a notebook, answer the following questions 1) How could I tell the child was completely immersed in their imagination? What did this look like? 2) How did the child being engaged in their imagination differ to my own use of my imagination in scenes? 3) What blocks me fully engaging with my own imagination? 4) What can I learn and integrate into my own practice of using my imagination from what I observed?
  • Take a photo or scan in your answers from the above questions and add into your week 3 Google Drive folder
  • Order a copy of Blue Remembered Hills by Dennis Potter.
